Board of Trustees

The Boyne District Library Board of Trustees are a group of citizens who provide leadership in support of the mission of the library and the library’s goal of meeting the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the community. Trustees serve 4 year terms and are appointed by the governing body of the City of Boyne City (3 seats), Bay Township (1 seat), Evangeline Township (1 seat), Eveline Township (1 seat), and Wilson Township (1 seat).

Are you passionate about libraries and community service? The Boyne District Library is looking for a dedicated Board Member who resides in Wilson Township to help shape the future of our library!📚

Duties Include:
✅ Attending and participating in monthly board meetings (the second Tuesday of each month at 5:30)
✅ Lending your expertise and leadership to benefit the library
✅ Actively participating in activities and workshops
✅ Visiting the library regularly

Qualifications:
✔ Appreciation forlibraries and a commitment to excellent service
✔ Willingness to bea team player
✔ Strongcommunication and planning skills‼
✔ Applicants must reside in Wilson Township.
